First public airing this month of a new Jazz/Blues song, Kevin’s first written in collaboration with Derek Nash, one of the country’s leading saxophonists & full member of the Jools Holland Rhythm & Blues Orchestra. First time for Kevin performing at the renowned celebrity haunt, The Ivy, for a private client’s birthday party (… jostling past the paparazzi-strewn pavement to find the entrance to get in was fun…)

Kevin performed twice this month for new client, Louis Vuitton: Marketing Manager, Anne Honore, was very pleased that both Kevin, and his jazz trio, were the ideal look and musicianship for their high-end brand.

Live At Pizza On The Park – 19th January 2010

Kevin’s next live date with his quintet in London is 19th January at Pizza On The Park (nxt. Hyde Park Tube, London). Kevin will be performing, with his six piece Swing band, songs that include ‘Feeling Good’, ‘I’ve Got You Under My Skin’, ‘In The Wee Small Hours’….via a latino ‘Sway’, a hauntingly beautiful version of ‘You Go To My Head’ and one or two surprises. Kevin provided the after-dinner cabaret to 600 sports enthusiasts at celebrity cricketer Darren Gough’s ‘Question of Sport Dinner’ for Anthony McGrath’s Benefit Evening, held at The Royal Armouries in Leeds.“Once again thank you for helping to make last week such a success, and I look forward to working with you again in the future” wrote events organiser, Richard Blakey

The organizers of The World Travel Market – the premier global event for the Travel Industry held at the Excel Arena, Docklands – were overjoyed with the Rat Pack entertainment Kevin & his trio provided for their appreciative attendees.

TV appearances a go-go…

Magnificent Maltese Wedding !

Kevin delighted the blue-blooded owner of the Palazzo Parisio, Malta (described as “a miniature Versailles”) as well as the guests when he performed a sophisticated set that included Dean Martin favourites during the wedding breakfast for a private client from the North of England, who‘d taken a large party of family & friends to Malta to celebrate their daughter’s wedding, held over two days.

Madonna a ‘no show‘ at The Kabbalah Center?

When Kevin received a booking from The Kabbalah Center (Madonna attends when in London) to perform at one of their select soirees, anticipation wasn’t high that she may be at this private gathering. Shame she wasn’t there – maybe next time? She missed out on a great evening!

Sinatra goes to Shoreditch House?

The week after Alexandra Burke, JLS et al descended on this cool private members club for her 21st Birthday, Kevin found himself there, entertaining guests at a slightly more mature birthday celebration!

Live at the Park!

Kevin performed to a packed house at Pizza On The Park on 9th September. Performing another entertaining show to a very appreciative audience, who were also treated to the delights of his masterful trio Bobby Worth, John Pearce and Paul Morgan….and all the while being photographed during the performance for publicity shots for an up and coming event at the Excel Arena, Docklands.

Full on and fabulous ‘1950’s American Dinner’ themed 21st Birthday Party!

Being photographed next to an (immaculate) Baby Pink 1950’s Cadillac is not usually the first thing Kevin & the band are asked to do when they arrive at an event. And with guests’ ages mainly hovering around 21 years old, it was good to see a full dance floor and partygoers singing along to songs they clearly enjoyed!

1920’s/1930’s and Breakfast At Tiffany’s themed two day extravaganza!

Kevin is flattered to have been chosen to provide all of the entertainment for the above private event to be held next year on Burgh Islands stunning Art Deco Hotel. His jazz-trio and his swing quintet will be complimented by a female jazz chanteuse, augmenting Kevin’s marvellous renditions of these classic songs.
