OPEN-AIR SUMMER JAZZ CONCERTS AT FULHAM PALACE, HOSTED BY FAMED 606 JAZZ CLUB

Great start to Spring!
First quarter of 2015 got of to a cracking start for Kevin with some great press coverage for one of his jazz band’s public gigs, two sold out theatre concerts with Sinatra Sequins & Swing – The Capitol Years Live!, event for Karen Hardy (BBC Strictly Come Dancing), live-on interview with Zest Radio Chelmsford, being Sinatra for the Rat Pack show at Brighton FC stadium and Michael Buble Tribute at Colchester FC Stadium. Plus singing at some beautiful weddings and events, including ones at exclusive London venues The Gherkin, Connaught Hotel, The RAC Club and historic Middle Temple.

Southend International Jazz Festival
Ken Barnes – last record producer of one of the greatest American Songbook lyricists JOHNNY MERCER (also the co-founder of Capitol Records) – picked Kevin as the man to deliver Mercer’s most iconic songs in Ken’s unique ‘Hooray For Mercer!’ celebration for SOUTHEND JAZZ FESTIVAL last month. Ken presented fascinating personal Mercer insights and private footage/photographs – enthralling everyone of the audience – interspersed with Kevin singing Mercer classics (inc Moon River, One For My Baby, Summerwind, Too Marvellous For Words, & more) backed by Dame Cleo Laine’s pianist, John Horler.

See Kevin & his Band Live At the 606 Club
Kevin and his jazz band make their debut at one of this country’s most renowned jazz clubs – the famous 606 Club in Chelsea – on 9th November. Performing tasty takes on standards by likes of Mercer, Strayhorn, Jobim, Legrand, Ellington, Porter, some new jazz translations of pop anthems plus originals. Tickets via www.606club.co.uk
Beautiful weddings, events and Spandau Ballet’s Tony Hadley!
As well as singing at some lovely weddings and parties last month, Kevin sang to the event industry’s movers and shakers at the Event Organisers Summit, held at The Hilton Hotel Wembley
and was booked by Tony Hadley’s people to sing at his Golf Classic Annual Dinner
Kevin performs for The President!
Kevin was honoured to be rebooked by luxe book publisher, Reel Art Press, to perform with his band at the company’s launch in Estonia. The launch, held near the top of the 314m high TV Tower in Tallin, was attended by The President of Estonia (who Kevin was surprised to discover has a New Jersey accent), The British Ambassador to Estonia and dignitaries representing the Estonian Arts, Culture and Media.
