Kevin Gets His Hands On The Olympic Torch

Kevin performed at the recent VCWestminster Awards, held at The Landmark Hotel London. Star Guest was Olympic Swimming Gold Medallist Duncan Goodhew MBE, and of course everyone wanted a picture taken clutching the famous Olympic Torch & Olympic Gold Medal.

Kevin was honoured to be performing his Frank Sinatra Tribute show at a recent Grand Las Vegas Ball for The Royal Artillery.

Tickets went on sale last week for The Kevin Fitzsimmons Sextet’s next live date at world famous Ronnie Scottt’s Jazz Club, Soho, on the 8th July, Sunday Lunch Jazz Session, and we urge you not to miss it!  Expect fresh-sounding, carefully chosen gems from the American Songbook, interspersed with one or two tasty jazz re-arrangements of iconic pop classic – and maybe one of Kevin Fitzsimmons’ interesting originals thrown in for good measure. The Big Band Blitz at York House, Twickenham

It was back to the 1940’s & the era of Glen Miller when Kevin, backed by the Jon Bennett Big Band, performed at The Big Band Blitz (attended by The Mayor of Richmond & dignitaries from the American Embassy in Grosvenor Square) recently. The 1940’s re-enactors & vehicles, the NAAFI, the Air-Raid warning & the 40’s memorabilia /decorations all added to the sense that we’d stepped back in time!
